Dear CDAS Members, Industry Partners and Commercial Divers,
We wish to inform you that the Commercial Diving Association (Singapore) has been notified of a recent workplace incident involving a commercial diver in Singapore, who was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
At this time, we are awaiting further details from the relevant authorities. Please note that the company involved is not a member of the Association. Nevertheless, CDAS stands ready to offer any assistance required by the authorities or industry stakeholders.
This unfortunate incident serves as a stark reminder of the inherent risks in commercial diving. CDAS strongly urges all members, industry professionals and diving personnels to strictly adhere to all established safety regulations and operational guidelines during diving activities.
