Dear Valued Members of CDA(S),
In view of the recent increase in fraudulent certification cases reported across the region, CDA(S) has conducted a comprehensive review and due diligence assessment of commercial diving certifications recognised for the purposes of undertaking commercial diving works in Singapore.
This review forms part of CDA(S)’s ongoing regulatory and compliance efforts to prevent the use of fraudulent or unverified certifications, and to safeguard the integrity, safety, and professional standards of the commercial diving industry.
Members are hereby advised that only certifications included in the revised list of recognised commercial diving certifications shall be deemed acceptable for commercial diving operations in Singapore. The use, submission, or reliance upon any certification not included in this list may constitute a breach of applicable industry requirements and may be subject to further review or action.
The updated list of recognised certifications is attached for your reference. Members are expected to ensure full compliance with these requirements with immediate effect.
CDA(S) reserves the right to amend, update, or revoke recognition of any certification at its sole discretion.
