Membership Categories

Our membership is divided into three categories:

1. Corporate Member
   • Corporate Membership is open to any company or organisation that carries out Commercial Diving activities in Singapore. Commercial Diving refers to any underwater or subsea works requiring the services of Commercial Divers and ancillary personnel supporting them in the conduct of their tasks.
   • All Corporate Members are strictly required to undergo and pass an audit conducted by CDA(S) to fulfil the membership requirements.
2. Associate Member
   • Associate Membership is open to any individual, company, partnership, or other body corporate that does not fall under the other membership categories or, in the opinion of the Executive Committee, is not directly associated with the Commercial Diving Industry but has an interest in one or more branches of the industry.
   • Associate Members may include those who provide:
     • Auditing services
     • Consultancy services
     • Equipment supply
     • Medical services
     • Training services
     • Other services that support the Commercial Diving Industry
3. Individual Member
   • Individual Membership is open to any person who satisfies the Executive Committee that he or she:
     • Is at least 18 years of age;
     • Possesses a Certificate of Competency (CoC) as an Experienced Commercial Diver or Dive Manager, or an equivalent qualification approved by a recognised institution; or
     • Holds other qualifications or relevant experience deemed by the Executive Committee to be equivalent to such CoC;
     • Has been engaged in the practice of, or associated with, a branch of the Commercial Diving Industry; and
     • Has attained a degree of professional standing within the Commercial Diving Industry that, in the opinion of the Executive Committee, qualifies the individual for acceptance as an Individual Member.
