DESCRIPTION:Dear Industry Members\,\n\nThe Commercial Diving Association (Singapore) (CDAS) is excited to announce the upcoming Underwater Ship Husbandry Seminar\, co-organized by the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA)\, the Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI)\, the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF)\, and CDAS. The event will be held at Marina Bay Sands\, Singapore on Thursday\, October 10th\, 2024.\n\nIn light of recent diving accidents and fatalities\, this Technical Seminar aims to bring together the commercial diving community\, vessel owners\, port and harbour authorities\, and regulators to discuss best practices in the underwater ship husbandry industry.\n\nParticipants will have the opportunity to hear from industry and regulatory experts from the Ministry of Manpower Singapore\, the Singapore Shipping Association\, SeaTec\, Subsea 7\, and Total Energies. There will also be guest speakers sharing poignant firsthand experiences of surviving a life-threatening accident and their journey to recovery.\n\nIn addition\, attendees will also hear from IMCA CEO Iain Grainger\, ADCI President Phil Newsom\, and CDAS Chairman Alexis Chee. DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Commercial Diving Association (Singapore) – CDA(S) – we would like to extend an invitation to you to our annual CDA(S) Diving Safety Seminar 2016. \n  \nSeminar CDAS 2016 Event Highlights\nThe Commercial Diving Association (Singapore)\, with the support of the Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Employees Union (SMEEU)\, will be conducting a Seminar on Diving Safety topics on 19 August 2016. Secretary General\, MP for West Coast GRC and GPC Chairman for Manpower\, will be gracing our event as the Guest of Honour. Speakers from the Ministry of Manpower\, the Employment & Employability Institute and the commercial diving industry will be presenting on WSH legal requirements for Commercial Diving competence and equipment.
