Underwater Ship Husbandry Seminar 2024

October 10, 2024

Dear Industry Members,

The Commercial Diving Association (Singapore) (CDAS) is excited to announce the upcoming Underwater Ship Husbandry Seminar, co-organized by the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA), the Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI), the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF), and CDAS. The event will be held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore on Thursday, October 10th, 2024.

In light of recent diving accidents and fatalities, this Technical Seminar aims to bring together the commercial diving community, vessel owners, port and harbour authorities, and regulators to discuss best practices in the underwater ship husbandry industry.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear from industry and regulatory experts from the Ministry of Manpower Singapore, the Singapore Shipping Association, SeaTec, Subsea 7, and Total Energies. There will also be guest speakers sharing poignant firsthand experiences of surviving a life-threatening accident and their journey to recovery.

In addition, attendees will also hear from IMCA CEO Iain Grainger, ADCI President Phil Newsom, and CDAS Chairman Alexis Chee. Event programme for reference

This international event in Singapore focusing heavily on diving safety is expected to be one of great sharing and learning. We strongly encourage all companies and individuals involved in the ship husbandry industry to join us for this rare opportunity.

Attendance is complimentary. However, given the limited availability of slots, please secure your participation here at early to avoid disappointment.

We look forward to welcoming you at the seminar.

Yours sincerely,
